About Us
Royal Valet is the foremost valet parking service for Tulsa and Northeast Oklahoma, Wichita, Kansas, and Northwest Arkansas. Our focus is to serve our communities through the distinguished act of valet parking. Royal Valet recognizes that we are both the first and last experience your guests will have at your event and we take that as a high honor. Through well planned arrival experiences, genuine hospitable interactions, and walking in a sincere appreciation for you and your guests, we are certain that the experience with Royal Valet will be memorable for all involved.
Royal Valet operates in two resolute principles – excellence and integrity. For us – excellence means doing everything we do to the very best of our ability – be it the safety with which we operate the vehicles, the courtesy with which we engage with your guests, or the way we present ourselves. Integrity means we do exactly what we say we are going to do – provide you with the best possible valet experience! We also recognize that vehicles are an extension of one’s home. You can know your vehicle will be treated with respect and care during its time with us.
We are pleased to serve any type of event including but not limited to charity galas, weddings, corporate events, and holiday parties. We also value our partnerships with venues such as hotels, restaurants, casinos, and event venues.
Our History
Royal Valet began in 2012. At the time there was a need for a valet service in the Tulsa area that operated in true excellence. With a background in hospitality and customer service, Royal Valet’s owner and founder, Mandy McElroy, created the humble beginnings of Royal Valet. Supported by her husband and fellow entrepreneur, Scott, Mandy quickly realized that this was not meant to be just a small side hustle.
As Royal Valet began to serve more and more guests in Tulsa, our reputation as a valet company of excellence and integrity quickly grew. By simply engaging with our guests in genuine hospitality and appreciation, we found our company exploding! We are pleased to now serve many communities including: Tulsa metro and Green Country; Wichita, KS; Stillwater, OK; Joplin, MO; and NW Arkansas.
Although we enjoy every event we partner with, perhaps our greatest honor is the many non-profit causes that we get to support on their greatest fundraising nights of each year! We have partnered with Mental Health Association, The Demand Project, Salvation Army, Alzheimer’s Association, art museums, universities, community colleges, and so many more!
Our Team
Scott and Mandy McElroy
Owners
Scott and Mandy met while studying at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where they both graduated in 2009 with their Bachelor’s degrees. They were married during their senior year in 2008. Scott began his first business while in college at ORU, detailing vehicles. Mandy worked as a hotel manager during her college career. In 2011, Scott and Mandy welcomed their first child, Samuel. Around the same time, Mandy began to ponder the idea of starting a valet parking service in Tulsa. In 2012, Royal Valet was officially born. Scott and Mandy continued to grow both their business family and their own family, welcoming three more children: Lydia, Alana, and Judah.
Today they manage together an ever-growing portfolio of businesses. The McElroys, along with their children, enjoy the opportunity to serve their community, serve their local church, and spend time with friends and family.
Becca Heister
Bookings
Becca is one of Royal Valet’s original team members! Having grown up in Bixby, Becca started working with Royal Valet on the gala team when she attended OSU for her Bachelor’s Degree, and was vital in building our casino team in 2018. Becca now serves Royal Valet as our Bookings Manager, ensuring all of our clients are well taken care of during the pre-event process. She is currently working on her Masters in Industrial Engineering through OSU. When not working or studying, you can find Becca playing with her dog, Indy, or immersed in a captivating book, all fueled by a warm cup of good coffee!
Michael Hempel
Events Team Manager
Michael is from Lake Jackson, Texas. Currently a student at Oral Roberts University, Michael is studying Ministry and Leadership in hopes to one day to lead a church. In 2021, Michael began as a valet driver and to further his leadership passions and experience took on this position in 2022. Michael enjoys this opportunity to serve the Tulsa community in leading Royal team members.
Tulsa has quickly become a second home to Michael because of his love for beautiful scenery and the amazing people he has met.
Matthew Ranahan
Events Team Supervisor
Matthew comes to us from Anderson, Indiana, arriving in Tulsa the fall of 2020 to study Criminal Justice at Oral Roberts University, with the career goal of entering federal law enforcement. He joined Royal Valet as a driver his sophomore year after hearing several friends tell him it was a great job! Following his graduation in December 2023, Matthew became an official resident of Tulsa because he loves the city and felt called to stay here for a while longer. He was promoted to Events Team Supervisor in the summer of 2024, and looks forward to serving the community of Tulsa in a new capacity!
Katelin Hempel
Office Administrator
Katelin moved from Pensacola, Florida to the Tulsa area in 2010 to be close to her family. She started out at Royal Valet as a coat check in 2022 before stepping into her current role as office admin. Outside of work, she loves crafting, reading, and finding treasures at local thrift stores. Katelin enjoys being a part of the Royal Valet team for the opportunity to build strong connections within the Tulsa community while working in a collaborative, family-driven environment.
